STEEL STRONG ROOM DOORS
Kammar Udyog's Steel Strong Room Doors are constructed to any
size, design, and degree of strength. With our manufacturing ingenuity,
our Steel Strong Doors are water-tight and fire- & burglar-resisting. The
research and development (R&D) cell at Kammar Udyog is very
curious about making impactful changes in the products. For instance,
modern Kammar Strong Room Doors are now delivered with new
additional features to provide full protection against natural threats.
Typically, Kammar Strong Room Doors can easily be incorporated with
grill gates.
Principally, the Strong Room Door is fastened on special pivots and
when locked, an uncomplicated wheel mechanism tightens the door
onto an arrangement and executes it perfectly. When the door is finally
closed, water will not enter the strong room in the event of flooding.
This new feature accommodates the special purposes for the buildings
fitted with automatic sprinklers or basement strong rooms. A competent

Construction and Workmanship
Door Slab: The door slab thickness varies according to the classes (as
below-mentioned) but in both classes, door slabs are reinforced with a
50 mm thick mild steel barrier to give protection against fire and
powerful drill attacks. The doors in all the cases are hung onto the
strong pivots and well balanced to secure the facility of movement.
Heavy Quality Strong Room Door with Grill Gate (Class II
Quality): The material of the outer composite slab is mild steel of
30 mm, and the overall thickness of the door with the locking
system is approximately 230 mm.
Light Quality Strong Room Door with Grill Gate (Class I Quality):
The material of the outer composite slab is mild steel of 15 mm
thick, and the overall thickness of the door with the locking
system is nearly 185 mm. This class of the Strong Room Door
also offers an option for the 'Double Strong Door with Grill Gate'.

Door Frame: The door frame is made up of mild steel 12 mm thick.
Concerning the required strength and rigidity, the door frame is
accurately reinforced with double layers of flat bars across the height
and width of the door frame. A special ‘Box-jamb’ is welded to the
frame to provide a strong rebate for the shooting bolt.
Shooting Bolts:Shooting bolts for the Kammar Strong Room Doors,
have high tensile strength. Generally, a Kammar Strong Room Door
irrespective of the Class is equipped with 12 shooting bolts, (six at the
front and six at the rear) which slide behind the tough box-jab of the
door slab. These bolts can be operated simultaneously by rotating the
handle.
High-Security Locks: The doors are fitted with the two KU (Kammar
Udyog) dual-control with high-precision 11-lever locks. Beautifully
designed and fabricated stainless keys are given to operate the dual
locks.
Combination Lock: For the satisfactory working of the Strong Room
Door, a well-designed grill gate is fitted, which is secured with an
8-level lock operated from either side of the gate. Importantly, the main
doors always open outside and the grill gate inside. According to the
requirement of the customer, the main doors can be hung on both
sides, I.e., right or left.
Air Ventilators: Air Ventilators for every Strong Room Door is
considered a mandatory parcel. The main purpose of the air ventilator
is to provide proper ventilation and safety. Normally, the air ventilator is
made with mild steel to create a channel section to grip the wall. Air
Ventilator consists of a series of uniform holes of diameter 18 mm. The
overall size of the Air Ventilator can be tailored as per the requirement.
